Tyn Dwr Hall Wedding Photographer | Black Tie November Wedding | Phoebe & Kai

Phoebe and Kai’s November wedding at Tyn Dwr Hall felt effortlessly elegant from start to finish.

As a venue local to me, Tyn Dwr is somewhere I know and love working at. The team feel more like friends than colleagues, and that familiarity always allows the day to flow naturally. Even with a little November drizzle in the air, everything felt warm, relaxed and beautifully organised.

It was a true black tie affair, timeless, stylish and perfectly suited to the season. Rich tones, beautiful tailoring and some incredible guest outfits created the most subtle Christmas feel without it being overtly festive.

Although drinks and group photographs were held indoors due to the weather, the day never felt dull. The light stayed soft rather than grey, and we were able to head outside later for a gentle walk around the grounds. Tyn Dwr Hall in late autumn has such a quiet elegance, the landscape slightly muted, the atmosphere calm and romantic.

But for me, it was all about the dress.

Phoebe wore the most incredible gown by Needle & Thread, layered, textured and completely unique. It moved beautifully throughout the day and felt perfectly balanced against the clean lines of Kai’s black tie look. Together they looked effortlessly refined.

When darkness fell, we headed upstairs to the bridal suite for some on trend direct flash portraits. A little editorial, a little playful, the perfect contrast to the soft natural light earlier in the day. These evening images added something modern and fashion forward to an otherwise timeless celebration.

Beyond the styling, what stood out most was Phoebe and Kai’s connection. There was a quiet strength between them, natural, unforced and full of warmth. That same connection was reflected in their families and friends, who surrounded them with so much love all day.

One of the most special moments came during the evening reception. As a surprise, Phoebe and Kai asked the acoustic guitarist to play Phoebe’s parents’ first dance song and invited them onto the dance floor. Watching them sway together while their daughter and new son-in-law looked on was incredibly moving, a beautiful tribute to the example of love they had grown up with.

It was a day full of elegance, emotion and understated luxury, exactly what a November wedding at Tyn Dwr Hall should feel like.
