Brinsop Court Manor House & Barn

The beautiful 14th Century Manor House at Brinsop Court has a gorgeous moat surrounding it, there’s also an oak barn called The Knot and two gorgeous cottages, as well as other out buildings and an idyllic woodland outdoor ceremony area. It literally has it all ! I was there at the end of March the weather was gorgeous, the sun was shining but was still low enough in the sky to provide absolutely heavenly light that reminded me of destination weddings in Spain or Italy.

You really can make this venue your own, there is so many different spaces both inside and out to contribute to your unique day or few days. if you’re looking for a wedding venue with that WOW factor Brinsop Court most definitely has it!

Paul spent the morning downstairs in the manor house, where there is a self contained apartment, while Maria was preparing for the special day in the stunning bridal suite, both preparations were really laid and chilled, full of music and laughter. Maria had the sweetest moment when opening her present from Paul, I managed to capture one tear forming after she read his card which is now one of my favourite images. They opted for their cermony in the Elizabethan library, the guests chairs were set in a semi circle which proved really intimate and ensured every guest felt part of the day. The medieval banqueting hall was the ideal setting for the wedding breakfast, the elegant emerald green, navy blue, deep red and bronze table theme fit in handsomely! Every guest made me feel so welcome, I felt so looked after by the venue too, just a genuine lovely vibe all day! Some heartfelt, emotional and funny speeches provided the best warm up to sparklers right before the party kicked off in the Knot barn! The perfect room choices for every aspect of their day and i loved every minute!
